This Privacy Policy explains how Athlete Support Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Elite Athlete Support mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information — your email address, password (stored securely), and the role you select (athlete, team, or supporter).
• Profile information — information you choose to add, such as your name, sport, biography, photos, sponsors, and social links.
• Content you create — posts, updates, newsletters, and other content you publish through the Service.
• Support activity — records of the financial support you give or receive, processed through our payment provider.
• Usage information — basic technical data such as device type and app activity, used to operate and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account and profile;
• Operate core features such as following, posting, newsletters, and financial support;
• Process financial support through our payment provider;
• Communicate with you about your account and the Service;
• Maintain the safety, security, and integrity of the Service;
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. Service Providers

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the Service. These include:

• Supabase — for account authentication, database, and file storage.
• Stripe — for processing financial support and payouts. When you give or receive support, your payment information is handled directly by Stripe under its own privacy policy. If you receive payouts outside the United States, Stripe collects the identity, tax and bank information required in your country, and your information may be processed in the United States and in your country.
• Resend — for delivering email such as newsletters and account notifications.

These providers process information on our behalf and are permitted to use it only to provide their services to us.

4. Information That Is Public

Some information you provide is intended to be public by design. Athlete and team profiles, posts, and supporter recognition (your supporter name by default, plus an optional logo and link, unless you support anonymously) may be visible to other users and, in some cases, to anyone with the profile link or QR code. Do not include information in these areas that you do not want to be public.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

• With the service providers described above, to operate the Service;
• As part of the public profile and content features you choose to use;
• When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public;
• In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this Policy.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can delete your account at any time in the app, or by following the steps on our Delete Your Account page. When you delete your account, we remove your profile and content and keep only the limited payment records described on that page.

7. Your Choices

• You can review and update your profile information within the app.
• You can turn off post emails in the app, or unsubscribe using the link in each email.
• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
